I just got home from a fun late night (after the show) of playing "Apples to Apples" with the Boyz. What a great new game! I've heard it mentioned many times, but this is the first time I've played it. It might be right up there with "Catch Phrase" to me. ;-) (everyone who's been to parties at my house knows how much I love "Catch Phrase")
Mackie just ate an earplug.

I love Apples to Apples! I'm such a game person...hubby, not so much. Have you played Settlers of Catan? That's a great game as well.
Apples to Apples is pretty fun, its a big hit here. I personally love to play the ironic cards. If you can read the person you can totally guess what they'll pick.

Katie and Scoots, I would so love to play Apples to Apples with both of you! We'd have bushels of fun. (Bushels 'cause apples come in bushels)
Katie: I was playing it with my current cast "Altar Boyz" so, yes, it was quite fun guessing what they'd pick. Hilarious.
Scoots: No, I've never heard of Settlers of Catan. It sounds complicated. Like Risk.

Yes, Settlers is much like a combo of Risk and Monopoly...only very fun!
Matt has Settler's as he calls it. He loves it, I think I've played once. I like games where you don't think much. Ha, ha, ha...What's that say about my mental state right now?
